The NHL All-Star break starts early for the Chicago Blackhawks, who don't play again until Feb. 7. Defenseman Louis Crevier and forward Cole Guttman won't be vacationing, however, as the Blackhawks assigned both players to the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL on Sunday.
The Chicago Blackhawks made four roster moves involving defensemen on Saturday. Ahead of a matinee matchup against the Winnipeg Jets, the Blackhawks activated Jarred Tinordi from injured reserve, recalled Louis Crevier from the Rockford IceHogs, and assigned Wyatt Kaiser and Isaak Phillips to the AHL club.
On Tuesday, the Blackhawks announced the signing of former seventh-round pick defenseman Louis Crevier. Crevier was selected with the 188th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
