Vickie Guerrero hopes to get a chance to guide some more of AEW’s roster to victory.

EXCUSE ME! — Vickie Guerrero was recently a guest on the WhatCulture Wrestling podcast, where the All Elite Wrestling superstar spoke about her time with the company, as well as the presence (or lack thereof) of an on-screen General Manager role.

“I’m a little sad that I don’t play the General Manager,” said Guerrero when discussing that she no longer gets to play that type of role. “I do miss those times a lot because it was so much fun to make out with guys, hire and fire people, and slap women and get away with it. Those were really fun times,” Guerrero said. “It’s kind of a different situation with AEW and I wish I could do that, but hopefully, I can manage more people.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Guerrero discussed the growing women’s division in AEW, and noted that it’s an “exciting” time for her, and for the world of professional wrestling for women, in general.

“There’s been a lot of growth in that division and with us hiring more women around the world like Toni Storm, it’s really exciting that we’re getting so much diversity and have them be a part of the locker room,” Guerrero said. “It’s just going to get better.”

Vickie is currently working with Nyla Rose in AEW. Nyla recently spoke about how Vickie has been a huge difference-maker in her career, calling her a huge asset to the company. Read more about how Nyla hopes to one day follow in Vickie’s managerial footsteps at this link.
