John Cena Denies Ever Using Steroids

Despite his jacked appearance, WWE superstar John Cena denies ever using steroids because of the dangers it can inflect upon the body.

John Cena Denies Ever Using Steroids

For the longest time, WWE wanted 6-foot, 5-inch wrestlers in the 265-pound range. There were a few exceptions, but the larger sized wrestlers usually found themselves in better positions on cards.

Lately, that idea has been tossed aside. Do not get me wrong, WWE likes massive attractions such as Nia Jax and Omos.

To standout from everyone else, wrestlers took steroids, Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs) or whatever else you want to call them.

Naturally, we saw wrestlers grow new mass and muscles that were not present before.

John Cena has the look as he loves to spend time in the gym, but unlike his peers, he denies ever using steroids.

During a recent appearance on the Howard Stern Show, Cena went over knowing the importance of one’s body.

“There’s risk-reward there,” said Cena. “You know, if you hit the gas pedal too early, you can get a lot of bad stuff happen long-term.”

“I love to work out. Like you said, I know it’s important.”

“I love it. It’s kind of like my meditation.”

I’ve been 225 pounds since I was 17 years old. So I always feel that my frame […] I guess that’s why I never needed it.”

Cena continued how his testosterone was fantastic for a soon to be 47-year-old. He contributed that to what he does and does not put in his body.

“It’s an indicator of how much my body can repair itself, how much I can build, how many days I’m gonna feel good, how many days will I feel intrinsically driven to do work,” said Cena.

After retuning to WWE briefly during the Hollywood strike, Cena is back to making films and movies. He is not booked for WrestleMania 40, with this last match being a loss to Solo Sikoa.

So, when John Cena denies using steroids, do you take the WWE poster child on his word?

Personally, I do believe him.
