The International title match for AEW Revolution is on.

After Roderick Strong challenged Orange Cassidy on last week’s show, Cassidy accepted Strong’s challenge on AEW Dynamite, setting up their match for March 3 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Cassidy said he wouldn’t wait until then, however, as he’ll continue to defend the International title.

Following Worlds End, Undisputed Kingdom's leader Adam Cole has made clear that Strong's next target is the International title. After Strong issued the challenge last week, Cassidy offered him a title match right then and there. Strong rejected the idea of an impromptu title match, saying he would rather wait until Revolution.

On Wednesday’s Dynamite, Wardlow defeated Cassidy’s Best Friends stablemate Trent Beretta. Wardlow attempted to attack Beretta after the match, but was called off by Cole. Beretta shoved Cassidy as he was attempting to recover inside the ring, but quickly apologized.

Here is the updated lineup for next month’s Revolution:

  • Sting’s retirement match
  • AEW International title: Orange Cassidy defends against Roderick Strong
