Christopher Daniels Shoots Down 'Unsubstantiated Garbage' Said By Jim Cornette About AEW's Chief Legal Officer

AEW's Head of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels took to X/Twitter to shoot down "unsubstantiated garbage" said about AEW's Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh.

Daniels posted, "I’ve kept my mouth shut about a lot of things in this past year, but the unsubstantiated garbage I’ve read in the past day about AEW’s chief legal officer is an embarrassment to anyone spouting it. Absolutely the last person who should be maligned in this situation."

Daniels is referring to comments made on Jim Cornette's podcast. Cornette's claim is that Parekh is the person behind Punk's exit. As reported last week by Dave Meltzer and others, there were many interviews conducted with talent and with people who were around when the incident happened. There were also cameras backstage at Wembley Stadium. Tony Khan stated that the decision to fire Punk was his after a recommendation from an external committee.
