Manchester United shot stopper Andre Onana received a second yellow card during their penalty shootout win over Coventry City.

The Red Devils squeaked through into the FA Cup final to face Manchester City, as they did last season.

Onana received one yellow in the match, while he was given another during the penalty shootout.

Per The Mail, IFAB rule 10.3 states that bookings picked up during the regulation match are not carried through to penalty shootouts."

Onana will not be suspended for the FA Cup final either, as yellow cards are not accumulated after the quarter-finals.

A similar situation took place with Emi Martinez and Aston Villa in the Europa Conference League.
