People were sickened at what this individual did to Rico Lewis as he was heading for a corner

Manchester City took on Burnley this evening at Turf Moore and they won the game three goals to nil. There was an incident in the first half of the game when Rico Lewis had a lighter throw at him.

Burnley FC can confirm the wrongen responsible for throwing a lighter at Rico Lewis has been identified and removed from the ground by the police.

Shocking behaviour from this fans and we hope the appropriate action will be taken against this fan.

As one fan said on twitter;

Sad night for Burnley. 1) Some of their fans boo taking the knee. 2) Lighter thrown at Rico Lewis. 3) Fan invades pitch & gets close to Alvarez. Oh and they got beaten 3-0 at home and had a player sent off.

Stuff like this really isn’t acceptable and hopefully the guy is banned from the ground forever more.
