Lazio defender Alessio Romagnoli is enjoying his football under Maurizio Sarri.

Romagnoli rates Sarri as the nest coach he's worked with.

He said, I think he's the best coach I've had to date, I was curious to see how he worked with the line.

"I don't forget the other coaches I've had: for me they are all excellent coaches. Everyone has their own characteristics, but overall for what I like Sarri I put him first, because he takes care of the defensive line obsessively, because he has concepts with the ball that I really like. He is truly a very, very strong coach."

Romagnoli was also asked about his Bosman move from AC Milan last year.

I don't know, but it's a question that should be asked of the directors of the time and not me. I didn't feel abandoned, but I had an agreement with them and then they didn't decide to continue.

"They made other choices, I made mine and it ended like this, in a very serene and peaceful way. I spent seven years with Milan, I've always said it: it's a very beautiful period of my life and one that I will always carry in my heart. I can only speak well of Milan."
