Everton manager Sean Dyche has received a potential selection boost ahead of the Premier League's return.
As the Toffees prepare to take on Liverpool in a Merseyside derby on Saturday lunchtime, they may get a midfield boost.
Per the Liverpool Echo, Idrissa Gueye is fit and may even start the game against the Anfield club.
Gueye, who is now 34, played for Senegal in a game against Cameroon during the international break.
He was fully fit at the end of the contest and is likely to be available for selection.
Manager Dyche will have to decide whether bringing him into the team from the start is the best option.
