Chelsea fullback Maatsen: I feel the trust at Borussia Dortmund

Chelsea fullback Ian Maatsen says he's enjoying his football with Borussia Dortmund.

Maatsen is on-loan to the end of the season at BVB.

So far, the left-back has accounted for one goal and two assists in eleven games in the Bundesliga.

"I feel the trust from the coach and my teammates, and from our supporters. It has helped my self-confidence," he told Ruhr Nachrichten.

Furthermore, the defender discusses the difference between playing in the Premier League and the Bundesliga.

"It is not easy to win matches here. I think the Bundesliga gives you good opportunities to show your qualities and to develop.

"It probably goes a little faster here, you have more matches and therefore there is a little less time for recovery. Even in the Bundesliga, however, you have to test your limits."
