Manchester United are finally moving in the market and after announcing Tyrell Malacia’s arrival at the start of this month, Christian Eriksen was unveiled as the club’s second signing of the summer on Friday.
The 30-year-old was a free agent after impressing at Brentford last season and was selected to strengthen Erik ten Hag’s midfield, an area he had identified as one in need of reinforcements.
Eriksen has signed a three-year deal at Old Trafford and his signing has been hailed by many United fans, with Bastian Schweinsteiger now becoming the latest to react to the news.
Great news for the world of football! I'm very happy for @ChrisEriksen8 that he found back to old strength & can reward himself with signing at a great football club. Respect!
Without a doubt, a brilliant player with a lot of experience. Definetly a good transfer for @ManUtd. https://t.co/OGrB9fHCJb— Bastian Schweinsteiger (@BSchweinsteiger) July 15, 2022
