While the decisive period of the season continues off the field and the rumours swirl about the future of the club away from the pitch, the investigation into AC Milan is also ongoing.

After the doubts expressed by La Repubblica yesterday (to which the lawyer Felice Raimondo also responded), this morning’s edition of Corriere della Sera (via Radio Rossonera) talks about the investigation by the Milan Prosecutor’s Office into the transfer of ownership of AC Milan from Elliott fund to RedBird fund.

The news launched by the newspaper concerns the figure of Aldo Savi, a financial and administrative director of the club. It was he who described the document that ended up in the hands of the Guardia di Finanza as ‘strange’ to the investigators.

The document with which Milan were supposed to present its corporate structure to ‘investors from the Arab world’ is actually a draft sent by a manager of the RedBird fund to the administrative director of Milan, Aldo Savi.

In front of the investigators, Savi – according to the paper – labelled the document ‘a problematic interpretation on the real ownership of the Rossoneri’.

The ‘mole’, as Savi is defined by the Corriere, would also have informed the Milan Prosecutor’s Office of ‘his impression’, i.e. the fact that ‘Elliott’s strong influence still weighs on the daily management of Milan’.
