Taylor Sheridan, the mind behind one of the most watched television shows in history is launching a new project called Landman.

The show is based on the podcast series Boomtown, an 11-episode saga that takes its listeners on a journey through the life of a West Texas boomtown and the struggles and fortune of the oil rigs.

Landman will feature some well known names and now Demi Moore has joined the cast. According to Deadline, Moore will join Bill Bob Thornton in the new Paramount+ series.

“Demi Moore is an iconic and extraordinary talent,” said Chris McCarthy, President and CEO, Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios. “We are thrilled to have her join Billy Bob Thornton and the star-studded cast of Landman, our next epic series from Taylor Sheridan.”

While viewers are craving anything Sheridan right now, they will have to wait as there is currently no release date for the new project. Sheridan is still trying to wrap up the second part of the final season of Yellowstone.

Production on Yellowstone has been halted due to the writers' and actors' strike as well as relatively public feud between the network and star Kevin Costner. It appears that Yellowstone will end without Costner on set.

Sheridan has plenty of projects in the work with Landman on the horizon and a second season of 1923 due for sometime in the future.

Still, the hype for Landman continues to grow, even more so as another A-lister in Demi Moore has joined the vaunted cast of the much-awaited show.
