Watch: Blackhawks' Frank Nazar Scores on First Shot in NHL Debut
Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK

Frank Nazar introduced himself to the Chicago Blackhawks' faithful with a bang. Making his professional debut Sunday against the Carolina Hurricanes, the rookie forward scored his first NHL goal on his first shot.

Midway through the first period, the Blackhawks executed a beautiful rush up the ice. Seth Jones skated up the right wing and dished a backhand pass to Nazar, who got lost behind Carolina's defense and fired a wrist shot past Pyotr Kochetkov to light the lamp.

After accomplishing the exhilarating feat, Nazar capped off the moment with a smooth celebration.

Nazar, who signed an entry-level contract with the Blackhawks on Sunday, couldn't have dreamt of a better start to his NHL career. After Sunday, he'll have two more games to get acclimated to the league as the Blackhawks conclude the regular season with a two-game West Coast road trip.
