PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Penguins were expected to be one of the more active teams at the trade deadline with a fire sale. Despite that, the Penguins were relatively quiet.
After trading Chad Ruhwedel the morning of the deadline, the Penguins made their second move of the day in a goalie swap with the Florida Panthers. The Penguins sent Magnus Hellberg to the Panthers in exchange for Ludovic Waeber.
