Noel Acciari Goes Through On-Ice Workout
Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

CRANBERRY — Pittsburgh Penguins center Noel Acciari, who is recovering from a concussion, is having an on-ice workout at UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex Monday morning.

It was not immediately known whether Acciari will take part in the full-team practice, which was scheduled to begin about two hours after his individual session with assistant coach Ty Hennes started, or whether he will be available when the Penguins face Florida Wednesday at 7:38 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena.

Acciari, who plays in the middle of the fourth line and is a key penalty-killer, has missed the past two games after absorbing a blow to the head from Winnipeg defenseman Brenden Dillon last Tuesday.

Dillon subsequently was suspended for three games.
