Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Brian Elliott (TBL vs. SJS) – 9% Rostered

In his last outing, Elliott stopped 37 of 39 shots (.949 SV%) in a win over the Canucks (Jan.18). Elliott has won nine of his last 11 games while posting a .905 SV%. His overall splits (3.07 GAA, .905 SV%) aren’t spectacular, but he’s a good bet to get you a win whenever he gets the start. Tonight he has the highest implied win% (70.2%) and lowest implied goals against (2.60) on the slate, so he should be a strong spot-start option.
