Tuukka Rask is back with the B’s.

The club reportedly signed the goaltender to a one-year, $1 million salary. The signing was first reported by PuckPedia

Earlier Tuesday, the Bruins’ AHL affiliate in Providence released the veteran from a professional tryout without him playing any games. His agent, Markus Lehto, meanwhile teased a potential signing.

Rask, 34, has been recovering from hip surgery that has kept him from playing since the Bruins were eliminated in the playoffs last season. He appeared in 24 games last year, posting a 15-5-2 record, a .913 save percentage, a 2.28 GAA and saved 3.3 goals above average.

Acquired by the Bruins in 2006, Rask has had a storied career in Boston, appearing in 560 games over 14 years. He won the Vezina Trophy as the league’s top netminder in 2013-14 and has been named to two All-Star Games.
