Zac Taylor Updates Joe Burrow, Joseph Ossai's Status Heading Into Cleveland Matchup

CINCINNATI — Zac Taylor met with the media on Friday ahead of the 2023 regular season and confirmed that quarterback Joe Burrow (calf) will start for the Bengals on Sunday and that defensive end Joseph Ossai (ankle) will not play.

Ossai suffered a high ankle sprain in Cincinnati's final preseason game on Aug. 26. Taylor told reporters Ossai is making good progress after being on the rehab field this week.

Meanwhile, Burrow is ready to lead Cincinnati in his fourth NFL season with a brand-new contract extension in the rearview mirror.
