Week 6 AFC North predictions: Ravens bounce back, Browns look helpless

The Steelers kept the AFC North race tight with a win over the Ravens in Week 5. Here are predictions for Week 6:

Baltimore Ravens (3-2) at Tennessee Titans (2-3): The Ravens offense looked inept in last Sunday's loss to the Steelers. Baltimore saw seven drops from its pass-catchers, which is tied for the third-most by any team since 2013, per TruMedia. QB Lamar Jackson also has a turnover problem during crucial in-game situations with 11 turnovers in the fourth quarter or overtime of one-score games over the last three seasons, the most of anyone in the NFL, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

The offense is clearly trying to take a heavier pass approach this season under new offensive coordinator Todd Monken, but the Ravens should get back to what they do best, running the football. It won't come easy against a Titans defense, which has allowed the ninth-fewest rushing yards per game (94.6) in the NFL, but Jackson is a difference-maker with his legs. This will likely be another defensive battle, but Baltimore's offense looks ready for a bounce-back performance.

"It's almost like a sleeping giant, man," tight end Mark Andrews said. "We need to wake up."

PREDICTION: Ravens, 21-14

Seattle Seahawks (3-1) at Cincinnati Bengals (2-3): The Bengals, on the other hand, looked like their old selves with an impressive showing by their offense in Week 5. QB Joe Burrow threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns for the first time this season, which was certainly aided by a historic performance by star WR Ja'Marr Chase. Chase finished the day with 15 catches for 192 yards and three touchdowns, joining Hall of Fame WR Jerry Rice as the only players since 1950 with multiple games of 10-plus receptions, 190-plus receiving yards and three-plus receiving touchdowns, per NFL Research.

It was exactly what Cincinnati's offense needed after struggling to find its footing to begin the year, and it was without WR Tee Higgins. If the Bengals offense can stay hot and get healthy, Cincy will once again be one of the most feared teams in the league. The Bengals have the perfect opportunity to do so in Week 6 when they take on a Seahawks secondary that has given up the third-most passing yards per game (280) in the NFL.

PREDICTION: Bengals, 28-24

San Francisco 49ers (5-0) at Cleveland Browns (2-2): The Browns have once again disappointed to start the season. Cleveland is sitting at 2-2 following its bye week, and the team still has major questions surrounding QB Deshaun Watson. Watson was medically cleared to play in the team's Week 4 loss to the Ravens but sat anyway. It was quite the head-scratching decision for a player who was given a five-year, $230 million fully guaranteed contract last year.

Cleveland is still saying its quarterback is "day-to-day" with maybe the best team in the NFL coming to town in Week 6. The 49ers have allowed the second-fewest rushing yards per game (64.2), so having a reliable passing game with Watson back in the lineup is essential. The Browns defense is still, by far, the best in total yards allowed per game (196.8), but it might just get exposed like the rest of San Francisco's opponents this season.

PREDICTION: 49ers, 31-13
