Watch: Peyton Manning's son tells uncle Eli Pro Bowl Games were 'scripted'

These days, you don't have to look far to find someone who wholeheartedly believes that professional sports follow a script. If you ask Marshall Manning, son of Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, that conspiracy extends to the NFL Pro Bowl Games.

After the Eli Manning-led NFC took the 2024 Pro Bowl Games 64-59, Marshall met his uncle at mid-field to expose the fraud.

"You know the refs won the game," Marshall yelled. "It's scripted."

It's doubtful there were any shenanigans in Orlando on Sunday, especially for a showcase that the league has bent over backward to make enjoyable for the players.

However, the timely joke created a hilarious interaction between nephew and uncle, which is bound to carry over to next year if Peyton and Eli go head-to-head again.

The brief moment conveyed the vibe of the Pro Bowl Games overall. Surprisingly, players looked like they were having fun while the competitive level was acceptable enough.

Meanwhile, plenty of NFL fans showed up to see the league's best compete in flag football and other skills competitions.

The official attendance for this year's event at Camping World Stadium was 55,709.
