Watch: Jalen Hurts' pick-six pulls the Giants within one score

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts threw a costly pick-six during the third quarter of Philadelphia's Christmas Day game against the Giants that pulled New York within two, 20-18.

The Eagles held a commanding 20-3 lead at the half, but a pair of turnovers gave the Giants life. Running back Boston Scott fumbled the second half's opening kick, followed by Giants cornerback Adoree' Jackson's interception of Hurts with Philadelphia driving into New York territory.

Philadelphia responded with a touchdown drive to give itself a 27-18 lead but Hurts' miscue made the game much closer than it should have been.

It was also another example of the Eagles' inconsistencies. On the ensuing touchdown drive, Hurts made an outstanding throw on a third-and-20 to keep the drive alive and was 4-of-5 for 60 yards overall during the sequence.

It's difficult to fathom the wild swings in production of Philadelphia's offense this season. When the unit clicks, it's one of the best in football. But as good as it can be, it can also handcuff the Eagles when things aren't gelling.

With only two weeks remaining until the playoffs, Philly is running out of time to prove it can play a complete game.
