The Carolina Panthers have been to the playoffs just once since falling to the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50. Much of that roster was flipped when Matt Rhule was hired as the coach with players being traded, released, signed elsewhere, or in Luke Kuechly's case, retired.

It was a magical run with a special core of players that came oh so close to hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. Even ex-Bronco Von Miller believes they were the better team.

"If you go back to the 2015 Super Bowl when we played the Carolina Panthers, like if we played those guys ten times, I don't see us beating those guys," Miller said during an appearance on Pardon My Take. "You know, we probably beat those guys twice. They had one of the most amazing offenses and amazing teams in NFL history. Cam Newton MVP and Luke Kuechly on defense. We were able to just scratch one out and win that one. It takes a little bit of luck."
