The most entertaining player on every NFL team

Wins and losses count the most to NFL teams and fans, but there's no doubting that the sport is still meant to entertain. Here are the most entertaining players from each NFL team.

1 of 32

Arizona Cardinals - Kyler Murray, QB

Arizona Cardinals - Kyler Murray, QB
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The 2019 No. 1 pick has gone through his rookie growing pains. He leads the league in sacks taken, and he's won just one of his last seven games, but his dual-threat ability makes him an exciting young signal-caller. Murray has 3,279 passing yards, 504 rushing yards and 21 total touchdowns this season.

2 of 32

Atlanta Falcons - Julio Jones, WR

Atlanta Falcons - Julio Jones, WR
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The two-time All-Pro receiver goes through some long, unexplainable touchdown droughts, but he's still one of the best and most entertaining wideouts in the league. Jones already has his sixth straight 1,000-yard season in 2019 with 1,150 receiving yards. He also has 82 receptions and six touchdowns.

3 of 32

Baltimore Ravens - Lamar Jackson, QB

Baltimore Ravens - Lamar Jackson, QB
Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

There isn't a more entertaining player in the league at the moment. With five more passing touchdowns in Week 15, Jackson leads the NFL with 33 passing scores this season. He also has 2,889 passing yards with a 7.8 yards per attempt average and just six interceptions. Jackson's thrown for five touchdowns three times in a game this season, but he adds to the excitement of watching him, as he also has a quarterback-record 1,103 rushing yards.

Buffalo Bills - Tre'Davious White, CB

Buffalo Bills - Tre'Davious White, CB
Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

NBC broadcaster Cris Collinsworth called White a rising star during "Sunday Night Football" in Week 15. White's stardom has already arrived. His two interceptions against the Steelers moved him into a tie for the league lead with six. White has 12 interceptions in 46 career games and 17 pass defenses in 2019.

Carolina Panthers - Christian McCaffrey, RB

Carolina Panthers - Christian McCaffrey, RB
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The third-year back is no longer in the MVP discussion but not because of anything he did or didn't do. McCaffrey leads the league with 2,121 yards from scrimmage and 18 total touchdowns, including 14 rushing scores. He already has a career-high 1,307 rushing yards and 359 touches (a league high as well) with still two games to go. McCaffrey trails Nick Chubb by 101 yards in the rushing title race.

6 of 32

Chicago Bears - Khalil Mack, DE

Chicago Bears - Khalil Mack, DE
Kena Krutsinger-USA TODAY Sports

Mack isn't having the same impact in his second season with the Bears, but he can still take over a game at any time. He needs 2.5 sacks in the final two weeks to record his fifth straight 10-sack season. Mack has 7.5 sacks, 42 combined tackles, 13 quarterback hits and seven tackles for loss this year.

7 of 32

Cincinnati Bengals - Joe Mixon, RB

Cincinnati Bengals - Joe Mixon, RB
Joe Maiorana-USA TODAY Sports

On a team depleted of talent, Mixon stands out. His yards per carry average has dropped nearly a yard from last year, but credit that to no A.J. Green and inconsistent play elsewhere on offense. Despite that, Mixon is just 75 yards away from his second consecutive 1,000-yard season. He also has 1,175 yards from scrimmage and six total touchdowns.

8 of 32

Cleveland Browns - Nick Chubb, RB

Cleveland Browns - Nick Chubb, RB
Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Browns have a lot of entertaining players, but with a second straight season of 5.2 yards per carry and a league-leading 1,408 rushing yards, it's hard not to pick Chubb for Cleveland on this list. He's on pace for more than 1,900 yards from scrimmage. If he leads the NFL in rushing, Chubb will become the first Browns running back to win the rushing title since Leroy Kelly in 1968.

9 of 32

Dallas Cowboys - Ezekiel Elliott, RB

Dallas Cowboys - Ezekiel Elliott, RB
Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Elliott knows a thing or two about rushing titles, having won them in 2016 and 2018. Elliott hasn't been as dominant this season, but he is still approaching 1,200 yards on the ground with 11 touchdowns. Elliott is on track to reach 1,350 rushing yards for the third time in his first four seasons.

10 of 32

Denver Broncos - Phillip Lindsay, RB

Denver Broncos - Phillip Lindsay, RB
Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Lindsay hasn't been quite as good statistically in 2019 either, and quarterback Drew Lock has become intriguing to watch over the last couple of weeks, but Lindsay still retains the most entertaining label for the Broncos. If he averages 76 rushing yards in the last two games, Lindsay will record his second straight 1,000-yard rushing season. He has 1,036 yards from scrimmage and six total touchdowns in 2019.

11 of 32

Detroit Lions - Kenny Golladay, WR

Detroit Lions - Kenny Golladay, WR
Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

What a rough end to the season it's been for the Lions, and without quarterback Matthew Stafford, there hasn't been a whole lot to look forward to. Golladay hasn't been quite as electric without Stafford, but that's no fault of his, and he's still just 12 yards shy of a career high in receiving yards. He has recorded 56 receptions for 1,052 yards and a league-high 10 touchdowns.

12 of 32

Green Bay Packers - Aaron Rodgers, QB

Green Bay Packers - Aaron Rodgers, QB
Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

The two-time MVP is worth the price of admission. Rodgers is a superstar passer and yet an excellent game manager. This season he has 24 touchdowns and just two interceptions. He has thrown for more than seven interceptions in a season just once since 2013. Rodgers has completed 63.3 percent of his passes for 3,463 yards while accounting for 25 scores this year.

13 of 32

Houston Texans - Deshaun Watson, QB

Houston Texans - Deshaun Watson, QB
John Glaser-USA TODAY Sports

The former Clemson quarterback has been a joy to watch since he burst onto the scene early during his rookie season. A knee injury cut Watson's first year short, but he's led the Texans to a 20-10 regular season record since the start of 2018. He has 3,668 passing yards, 376 rushing yards and 33 total touchdowns this year. In 37 NFL games, Watson has averaged 8.1 yards per pass and 5.7 yards per rush.

Quenton Nelson - Indianapolis Colts, G
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

A lot of readers will probably disagree with the choice of an offensive lineman for this list, and that's fine. Offensive line play isn't for everyone, but if it's for you, then it doesn't get much better than Nelson. He made the All-Pro team as a rookie last year and has been tremendous again this season. Let's just hope he reaches the end zone as a runner again soon, so we can watch what he has in store for his next touchdown celebration. Although the touchdown didn't count, Nelson did a keg stand for his first scoring celebration.

15 of 32

Jacksonville Jaguars - Leonard Fournette, RB

Jacksonville Jaguars - Leonard Fournette, RB
Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

He hasn't rushed for 100 yards since Oct. 20, but Fournette is experiencing a bounce-back season and already has a career-best 1,081 rushing yards. His yards per carry average has increased a full yard from last year, and he has more receptions and receiving yards this year than his first two years combined. Fournette has 1,569 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns in 2019.

16 of 32

Kansas City Chiefs - Patrick Mahomes, QB

Kansas City Chiefs - Patrick Mahomes, QB
Paul Rutherford-USA TODAY Sports

Injuries have slowed down Mahomes this season, but he's still having a terrific year. He's averaging 8.5 yards per pass, and he's reduced his interceptions to just four in 12 games. Mahomes also leads the league in net passing yards, which takes into account sacks. He has 3,606 passing yards and 23 touchdowns this year.

17 of 32

Los Angeles Chargers - Austin Ekeler, RB

Los Angeles Chargers - Austin Ekeler, RB
Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

He's not getting as many touches with Melvin Gordon back in the lineup, but Ekeler can still exploded at any moment, which was made evident again with his 84-yard touchdown reception in Week 14 against the Jaguars. Ekeler is on pace to set a career high in rushing and reach 90 receptions. He has 1,392 yards from scrimmage and 11 total touchdowns.

Los Angeles Rams - Aaron Donald, DT

Los Angeles Rams - Aaron Donald, DT
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Donald has reached Michael Jordan status in the sense that if the voters wanted to, they could award him the Defensive Player of the Year Award every season. Donald has won that award each of the last two years and has a chance to become just the third three-time winner this winter. Donald has also earned a spot on the NFL All-Pro squad each of the last four years. Last season, he led the league with 20.5 sacks; he has 11 this year with a league-high 19 tackles for loss.

19 of 32

Miami Dolphins - Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB

Miami Dolphins - Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB
Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The 37-year-old quarterback is a journeyman in every sense of the word, but in the last few years, he's played with nothing to lose, and boy, is it entertaining when it works. Last season Fitzpatrick averaged an incredible 9.6 yards per pass and threw for 17 touchdowns with the Buccaneers. This season, he has 2,790 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 13 games with the Dolphins. He's led Miami to a 3-8 record.

20 of 32

Minnesota Vikings - Stefon Diggs, WR

Minnesota Vikings - Stefon Diggs, WR
David Berding-USA TODAY Sports

The Vikings have no shortage of entertaining players. On offense alone, they have three or four solid choices for this list. We went with Diggs because of his knack for the big play this season. Last year he posted a career-high 102 catches with a career-low 10.0 yards per catch average. This season, he has only 60 receptions, but he's averaging 17.9 yards per catch, which is more than 5.0 yards better than his career average. As a result, Diggs already has a career-best 1,073 receiving yards with five touchdowns.

21 of 32

New England Patriots - Julian Edelman, WR

New England Patriots - Julian Edelman, WR
David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

While the Patriots have a lot of defenders, especially this season, who could lay claim to this spot on our list, it's special watching Edelman work at his craft. He's been one of the best slot receivers of this decade, and even with quarterback Tom Brady struggling as of late, the two clearly still have great chemistry. Last season's Super Bowl MVP, Edelman needs an additional 14 catches, 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns to set career highs in every category.

22 of 32

New Orleans Saints - Michael Thomas, WR

New Orleans Saints - Michael Thomas, WR
Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

Last season, Thomas led the league with 125 receptions; with two games remaining this year, he already has 133 receptions for 1,552 receiving yards. Thomas leads the NFL in both categories and has scored eight touchdowns. He also needs just 11 more receptions to break the single-season catches record. Thomas has two games to achieve that, but he may be able to do it in just one. He's posted at least 11 receptions in one game five times this year.

23 of 32

New York Giants - Saquon Barkley, RB

New York Giants - Saquon Barkley, RB
Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Barkley hasn't been able to reproduce his special rookie season, but he's still one of the most entertaining backs who is one touch away from a huge play. He broke a couple of dubious streaks in Week 15 with 112 rushing yards and two touchdowns vs. the Dolphins in Week 15. Barkley has 722 rushing yards and five total touchdowns this season. He has 3,073 yards from scrimmage and 15 total touchdowns in 27 career NFL games.

24 of 32

New York Jets - Jamal Adams, S

New York Jets - Jamal Adams, S
Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

It's possible that Adams doesn't play again in 2019 because of an ankle injury, and that would be a real shame because he's been absolutely terrific, especially this season. He made his first Pro Bowl last year, but in 2019, he has 64 combined tackles, 12 quarterback hits, eight tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, an interception and a fumble returned for a touchdown. His quarterback hits and sack numbers are career bests.

25 of 32

Oakland Raiders - Josh Jacobs, RB

Oakland Raiders - Josh Jacobs, RB
Darren Yamashita-USA TODAY Sports

The rookie back is making the Khalil Mack trade look a lot less lopsided one year later. Jacobs is averaging nearly 90 rushing yards per game and 4.8 yards per carry this season. With 1,150 rushing yards, he's third in rushing in the AFC with a chance to become the third rookie to win the rushing title this decade, and he has seven touchdowns.

26 of 32

Philadelphia Eagles - Zach Ertz, TE

Philadelphia Eagles - Zach Ertz, TE
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The 29-year-old has emerged as one of the best tight ends in the league the last couple of years. He set a record for the position with 116 receptions and posted 1,163 receiving yards last year. This season he's on pace for another 1,000-yard season and could reach the 100-catch plateau again too. Ertz has 84 receptions for 888 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 2019.

27 of 32

Pittsburgh Steelers - T.J. Watt, DE

Pittsburgh Steelers - T.J. Watt, DE
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The 25-year-old isn't just J.J. Watt's little brother anymore. T.J. leads the league with six forced fumbles and has already matched his sack total from last season with 13.0. He also has 14 tackles for loss, 31 quarterback hits and two interceptions this season. Watt should be in the Defensive Player of the Year discussion for years to come.

28 of 32

San Francisco 49ers - George Kittle, TE

San Francisco 49ers - George Kittle, TE
Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

There's a lot of great tight ends in today's NFL, but Kittle may very well be the best all-around at his position in just his third season. Kittle has followed up his record-setting 1,377 receiving yards from a year ago with 888 receiving yards and four touchdowns this season. He's also a mauler in the running game, which is one of the biggest reasons the 49ers are second in rushing yards during 2019.

29 of 32

Seattle Seahawks - Russell Wilson, QB

Seattle Seahawks - Russell Wilson, QB
Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

If not for Lamar Jackson's special season, Wilson would be the front-runner for MVP this year. He's been beating defenses with his perfect passes and legs for years, but fans around the league seem to have finally been giving him his due. He's on pace to pass for 30 touchdowns for a third straight year and to post 4,000 receiving yards for the third time in his career. He has 4,019 total yards and 31 total touchdowns with just five interceptions.

30 of 32

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Mike Evans, WR

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Mike Evans, WR
Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Evans will unfortunately miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury, but his per game averages are close to what they were a year ago when he set career highs. Despite the injury, Evans reached the 1,000-yard mark for his sixth consecutive season and scored eight touchdowns. With 462 catches, 7,260 receiving yards and 48 touchdowns in six years, he should be mentioned among the best wide receivers in the league.

31 of 32

Tennessee Titans - A.J. Brown, WR

Tennessee Titans - A.J. Brown, WR
Stan Szeto-USA TODAY Sports

The rookie has come into his own the last several weeks with Ryan Tannehill behind center. In three of the last four games, Brown has at least 114 receiving yards and a touchdown, and during that stretch he's averaging 22 yards per catch. He's averaging 19 yards per reception over the whole season with 893 receiving yards on 47 catches. For a team that has been dying for playmakers, Brown appears ready to be the team's No. 1 wideout for years to come.

32 of 32

Washington Redskins - Adrian Peterson, RB

Washington Redskins - Adrian Peterson, RB
Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

This is a young man's list, but Peterson sneaks on because of the talent-depleted Redskins. Not that Peterson isn't still entertaining, though, given what he's doing at his age. He's not far from averaging per carry what he did in 2015 when he led the league in rushing, and had Jay Gruden not made him a healthy scratch in Week 1, Peterson would have probably had a chance at another 1,000-yard season at the end of this month. As it is, he has 784 rushing yards with four touchdowns in 2019.
