Texans' Deshaun Watson not joining Colts, Seahawks?

It appears the public may be able to remove two teams from discussions involving wantaway Houston Texans star quarterback Deshaun Watson, who could be traded before the new league year opens on Wednesday. 

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Texans declined a request from the Indianapolis Colts to speak with Watson because Houston does not wish to trade the 26-year-old to a fellow AFC South club. The Colts agreed to send Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders last week. 

Additionally, Dianna Russini of ESPN tweeted the Seattle Seahawks "do not have any plans" to meet with Watson "as of now." The Seahawks were linked with the three-time Pro Bowl selection after they agreed to a blockbuster trade shipping one-time Super Bowl champion signal-caller Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos. 

Earlier on Monday, it was reported Watson rejected any possible move to the Cleveland Browns but had "extreme interest" in joining the Pittsburgh Steelers before Pittsburgh came to terms on a two-year deal with Buffalo Bills backup Mitchell Trubisky. 

Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network repeated previous reports and named the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints as the "two front-runners" to land Watson. Watson is scheduled to meet with representatives from those teams in Houston on Monday night. 

The Texans allegedly want a trade package of three first-round draft picks and multiple other assets for Watson, who has a no-trade clause in his contract.
