Tennessee Vols are trending for elite 4-star recruit who draws comparisons to former NFL Pro Bowler

The Tennessee Vols are trending for an elite four-star recruit who draws comparisons to a former NFL Pro Bowler.

Rivals.com national recruiting director Adam Gorney wrote this week that "it would be a surprise" if the Vols don't land 2025 four-star wide receiver Cameron Sparks.

Gorney also noted that Sparks, who is from Chattanooga, has drawn some comparisons to New England Patriots wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.

From Rivals.com: There are many other programs involved with the two-way standout from Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School and numerous SEC programs are in the mix, including Georgia.

But it would be a surprise if Sparks – who draws comparisons with JuJu Smith-Schuster – doesn’t end up at Tennessee. The Vols have made him a top priority in this class, he has said great things about the program and it looks like he could be headed to Knoxville.

Sparks, 6-foot-3/210 lbs, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 1 athlete in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of Tennessee. He's also rated as the No. 42 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.

The talented recruit told 247Sports earlier this month that Tennessee has always been "home" for him.

Sparks plans on announcing his commitment after taking some visits this offseason.
