Steelers Lose Starting DT for Cardinals Game
USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers will have to spend another week without a starting defensive lineman as they host the Arizona Cardinals at Acrisure Stadium, looking to make it three wins in four weeks.

Defensive lineman Montravius Adams, who has been inactive for the past three weeks with an ankle injury, will be sidelined again as the Steelers battle the Cardinals despite practicing all week.

Adams had been limited with an ankle injury this week at practice. He was a full participant for the first two days of practice before being downgraded to limited during the final practice session before kickoff against the Cardinals.

He suffered his injury in the Steelers' Week 9 contest against the Tennessee Titans and has yet to play since.

The Steelers will again turn to Keeanu Benton, Armon Watts and Isaiahh Loudermilk at nose tackle. They've filled in capably, but it'll be a task containing the power running of James Conner and keeping Kyler Murray contained without Adams in the lineup.
