Hekker has made a name for himself as arguably the best punter in the NFL since he entered the league in 2012 with the then-St. Louis Rams. Along the way, Hekker has earned four Pro Bowl honors and four All-Pro selections, coming in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
The Oregon St. product has never missed a game, and along with former Oakland Raiders standout Shane Lechler, was named to the All-Decade team for the 2010s at the punter position. In 2015, Hekker led the NFL in times punted (96), total punt yardage (4,601) and yards per punt (47.9), while pacing the league in punt yardage (4,680) and longest punt (78 yards) in 2016.
During the Rams' run to a championship in Super Bowl LVI against the Cincinnati Bengals, Hekker recorded 16 punts for 712 yards. He set an NFL record for longest punt in a Super Bowl (65 yards) during the Rams' loss to the New England Patriots in 2019.
The Bothell, Wash., native has been known to throw the occasional pass on a trick play across his career as well. Hekker has at least on pass attempt in every one of his NFL season except 2020 and has completed a pass in every season except 2013 and 2020.
Overall, Hekker is 14-for-23 for 186 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
