Rams Kicker Havrisik Shares Hilarious Reaction To Game-Winner

"I was so blanked out that I thought we actually scored and I hit a PAT (point-after try)," Havrisik told reporters after the game. "I looked at the score and I was like, 'Oh, dang, we're only up one, so they only need a field goal!' That's how blurred out I be."

Havrisik, who entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona last year, is technically not a rookie, but this stint with the Rams is his first taste of regular-season action. He was briefly a member of the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad as a rookie before being released and signing a reserve/futures contract in January. After being released again as part of the final round of roster cuts in August, Havrisik then signed to the Cleveland Browns' practice squad before joining the Rams' active roster late last month.

So far, the young kicker has performed quite well for the Rams. In three games, Havrisik has made four of his five field goals and both of his extra points. Considering how much the Rams' kicking game struggled early in the season with Brett Maher at the helm, Havrisik has been a pleasant surprise.

At the end of the day, Havrisik is taking his first real taste of the NFL experience one kick at a time.

"I try to treat every kick the same," Havrisik said. "Obviously your nerves and everything is going to be amplified. It's a long game, but you just got to stay even-keeled the whole time. Like, you can't get too high or too low. Just take it as any other kick, but, yeah, the adrenaline was definitely up there today."
