Patriots fan sends clear message to Tom Brady as Week 4 matchup vs. Buccaneers nears

A New England Patriots fan sent a clear message to Tom Brady as the team's Week 4 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers inches closer.

A photo of Brady's face crossed out in black ink and a flag that reads "You're in Patriots Country" was spotted near Gillette Stadium, apparently in hopes the former Patriots quarterback would see it, according to WCVB-TV Boston.

Brady led the Patriots to six Super Bowl titles in his 20-year career with the franchise. It's hard to imagine any Patriots fan would be this angry with the veteran for going to Tampa Bay, especially because Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick reportedly didn't want to commit to him through his age 45 season.

Many New England fans still hold a place in their hearts for Brady. However, they'll always put the Patriots first, and Sunday's game is a big one. It will determine whether the Patriots fall to 1-3 or improve to 2-2 on the season.

Brady recently told Jim Gray on their "Let's Go!" podcast on SiriusXM that he isn't expecting Patriots fans to root for him on Sunday night.

"I think they're there to root for their team and their team is the Patriots," Brady said. "And I'll certainly have a lot of people that cheered for me over the years, I know there'll probably be, I'll have a lot of family there and I have a lot of friends that have wanted to go to the game.

"The home crowd at Gillette is a great crowd. And I think they're going to cheer for their team as I would expect them to. And I think if they know anything about me, they're going to know that I'm going out there to try to win the football game. So I think they'll respect that about me. I certainly respect that they're there to pull for their team and that's the way sports goes."

Sunday's game also has high stakes for the Bucs. It will determine whether the club enters Week 5 2-2 or 3-1.
