Green Bay Packers quarterback and newly crowned four-time NFL Most Valuable Player Aaron Rodgers sparked headlines and buzz via an Instagram post shared late Monday night in which he thanked some Packers coaches and players and also reported ex-fiancée and actress Shailene Woodley.
Some assumed Rodgers was offering a farewell to the only NFL home he's known since the 2005 draft and was planning to leave the organization via either a trade or his retirement. However, Ryan Wood noted for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the future Hall of Famer said during his Tuesday appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" that "there will be no decision about my future" at this time.
Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, Rodgers also provided some insight into his latest social-media activities that allegedly didn't mean as much as some assumed.
Aaron Rodgers told the @PatMcAfeeShow that he just came out of a 12-day cleanse and his first thought was "intense gratitude" for everyone in his life.

Rodgers spent much of last offseason away from the Packers and was reportedly unhappy with general manager Brian Gutekunst throughout the summer months. The 38-year-old eventually returned to the club and earned regular-season MVP honors with his stellar play before he said in January that he and Gutekunst were "in a really good place."
Rodgers said meetings with GM Brian Gutekunst after the season were much better than they were the last time. Said the discussions were honest and open.

A report from last week claimed Rodgers' relationship with the Packers "is a complete 180" from where it was last summer, and that was before the club brought former assistant Tom Clements, who was close with Rodgers throughout their decade working together, out of retirement to serve as quarterbacks coach.
Rodgers on Tom Clements being hired as quarterbacks coach: "The game is better when Tom Clements is coaching."

Backing up, Rodgers said on @PatMcAfeeShow Davante Adams’ franchise-tag situation was part of the reason he wanted to make a quick decision this offseason. Meaning he wanted to provide clarity for Adams and the #Packers. Tag window opened today and closes in two weeks (March 8).

Perhaps Rodgers is saving a big announcement for the first or second Tuesday of March.
