NFL wideouts praise Colin Kaepernick's arm prowess in new promotional video

Although Kaepernick doesn't speak in the video, several players gave him glowing reviews for his arm strength and accuracy. 

"The arm's still intact," Lamb said. "Strong arm, deep ball's very nice. Man, he's still Kap now. Still got it to him." 

"Kap got a real rocket for an arm, man," Waddle added. "So it's different, real good ball placement. Hey, it's easy when you got a quarterback that's been through it. He [made] it easy for us." 

Perhaps the strongest endorsement came from New England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, who proclaimed that Kaepernick could play another six seasons in the NFL. 

"Man, he looks great," Bourne said. "He looks good. The arm looks strong. He got a rocket of an arm. Look at that man. He got another good six years left."

It's unclear whether the video was shot as part of a Nike campaign or for Kaepernick's own promotional endeavor. However, it's worth noting that the free agent signal-caller's logo was shown at the end of the clip.

Kaepernick last played in 2016, the same season he kneeled during the national anthem in protest of police violence and racial inequality. He completed 59.2% of his passes that year for 2,241 yards, 16 touchdowns and four interceptions, leading San Francisco to a 1-10 record as a starter. 

Since his last NFL appearance, Kaepernick has touched base with teams, having visited the Seattle Seahawks in 2017 and most recently working out for the Las Vegas Raiders last offseason. Of course, a deal with either team never came to fruition, but Las Vegas viewed Kaepernick's workout as "positive," per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. 

Even so, considering Kaepernick turns 36 in November and hasn't cracked an NFL roster in over half a decade, it's unlikely the situation changes this season, despite his recent praise.
