Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey made his return to action in the AFC title game.
Humphrey had been sidelined due to a calf injury suffered during the first half of Baltimore’s home game against the Miami Dolphins last month. Humphrey returned to practice on Wednesday, and he ended up making just enough progress from his nagging ailment to receive the green light to play against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Humphrey recorded one total tackle in the contest, as he mostly featured in the first half. In the end, it was the Chiefs who punched their ticket to Super Bowl 58 thanks to a 17-10 win.
After the game, Humphrey took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to give his appreciation to Ravens fans.
Tough way to go out…Thank you to the #RavensFlock for the year!
