Jason Kelce, Fletcher Cox show off arm talent at Phillies game

Philadelphia Eagles legends Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox showed off their arm talent during MLB opening weekend.

Kelce and Cox had the honor of throwing out the Phillies' ceremonial first pitch against the Atlanta Braves on Saturday.

And let's just say -- it's a good thing these guys only had to hit people during their NFL careers.

Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper and designated hitter Kyle Schwarber played catcher for Kelce and Cox.

Kelce had some heat behind his throw, though it was out of the strike zone. Meanwhile, Cox lobbed his ball but it would have been a home run hitter's dream.

You could tell it was an awesome experience for both Eagles players who officially retired last month and a treat for Philly fans at the game.

Harper also took advantage of the moment and repped customized cleats with Kelce's jersey No. 62 painted on them.

He then had Kelce sign them.

Kelce, 36, was originally selected by the Eagles in the sixth round of the 2011 draft. He started in all 193 appearances over his 13-year NFL career, earning six first-team All-Pro nods and seven Pro Bowls.

He announced his official retirement back in February and it wasn't too long after that Cox did the same.

Cox, 33, was drafted by the first in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He spent all 12 years in Philly, compiling six Pro Bowl nods, four All-Pro honors and a spot on the NFL's 2010s All-Decade Team.

There's no doubt that the NFL Hall of Fame will be calling both of their names in the future.
