Isaiah Buggs Angers Lions Fans: About Time I'm Around 'Real Dawgs'

After the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Miami Dolphins in one of the coldest games ever played, former Detroit Lions defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs took to social media to share his excitement.

"Boy When I Tell You This Team Is Litty," Buggs shared early Sunday morning, prior to deleting his message. "God Placed Me in Kansas For A Reason. Bout Time I'm Around Some Real Dawgs. Dubbbb First Playoff Win In My Career."

Fans immediately expressed frustration regarding the perceived slight at his former Lions' teammates.

Buggs had a tumultuous run in Motown. Starting after training camp, the former Alabama Crimson Tide defensive lineman was in and out of the lineup.

He caught the attention of fans early in the 2023 season, when he scrubbed all mentions of the Lions on his social media and posted that relationships changed. Speculation ran rampant regarding the meaning of his post, as Buggs did not really elaborate much on his comments made on social media.

His departure late in the season was slightly head scratching, as he was able to make some impact for Aaron Glenn's defense, when given the opportunity.

Detroit's defense was in search of a consistent pass rush all season, so parting ways with a player who showed a knack for getting to the quarterback and having the attitude needed to play and succeed on the defensive line upset many supporters.

His latest comment has likely burned the bridge among supporters, but deleting the post maybe was an acknowledgement many in Motown would not be thrilled reading those thoughts from a former player.
