How concerning is Ravens' injury bug?

The Ravens had several starters out in Week 4 and lost two more players during the game. How concerning is Baltimore's growing injury report in a year with Super Bowl aspirations?

First and foremost, the Ravens are 3-1, which is pretty good given the number of injuries they have seen to their roster just four weeks into the season.

Baltimore was without WR Odell Beckham Jr., WR Rashod Bateman, left tackle Ronnie Stanley, LB Odafe Oweh, LB David Ojabo, CB Marlon Humphrey and safety Marcus Williams to start the game and then lost right tackle Morgan Moses (shoulder) and safety Daryl Worley (shoulder) during the contest.

However, the Ravens still had a dominant 28-3 win over the Browns, whose defense ranked first in total yards allowed per game (163.7), first downs allowed per game (seven) and points allowed per game (10.7) heading into the matchup.

Granted, Cleveland was without QB Deshaun Watson, but it was still a testament to the Ravens offense versus one of the top defenses in the league. 

The impressive showing also proves how talented and deep Baltimore's roster is as the team continues to have players, such as linebackers Jadeveon Clowney and Kyle Van Noy, stepping up every week.

Nonetheless, something needs to change for the Ravens, whether it's a change in practice or workout regimen. The injury bug has luckily not been a major problem for Baltimore yet, but if it continues, it will be.

The 2023 Ravens seem to be built to battle through adversity but even the best can only withstand so much. The team must find a way to get healthy and stay healthy if it wants to be playing in February.

Baltimore travels to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers (2-2) in Week 5.
