Host of stars face former teams Week 4 in 'revenge' games

A pair of one-time Pro Bowl quarterbacks, one former All-Pro running back and four standout wide receivers will face their old teams in Week 4 during a heavy slate of "revenge games."

Jacksonville Jaguars wideout Calvin Ridley will open the docket of contests at 9:30 a.m. ET on Sunday when his team takes on the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium in London. Ridley spent his first four seasons with Atlanta from 2018-2021, earning second-team All-Pro honors in 2020 after posting career highs in targets (143), receptions (90) and receiving yards (1,374).

The former first-round pick was traded from the Jaguars to the Falcons in November 2022 amid his suspension for betting on games. Ridley was reinstated by the NFL in March.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen, Baltimore Ravens wideout Odell Beckham Jr. and New Orleans Saints signal-caller Jameis Winston will take on former squads in the Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers respectively during the 1 p.m. ET slate of games.

Thielen suited up in Minnesota for nine seasons from 2014-2022, making back-to-back Pro Bowls in 2017 and 2018. He signed a three-year deal with Carolina in March but still holds a spot in Vikings lore, ranking third in franchise history in targets (776), receptions (534) and receiving touchdowns (55).

Thielen said in August that he wasn't looking forward to facing is old teammates, explaining that it's "gonna be very emotional."

OBJ (who missed Week 3 with an ankle injury) played with the Browns for two-plus seasons from 2019-2021 and had his last 1,000-yard receiving campaign during his first year with the franchise. He was waived by Cleveland in November 2021 and signed with the Los Angeles Rams -- helping them win Super Bowl LVI -- but tore his ACL during the big game.

After spending the 2022 campaign rehabbing from his injury, Beckham Jr. signed with the Ravens in April.

Winston is expected to start the Saints' home game against the Bucs after starting quarterback Derek Carr suffered a shoulder injury in Week 3.

The 29-year-old was selected first overall by Tampa Bay in the 2015 NFL Draft and played five years there before joining New Orleans. Winston earned his lone Pro Bowl honor in his first NFL season and finished as the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year runner-up but was never able to lead the Bucs to the playoffs.

New England Patriots running back Ezekiel Elliott will return to "Big D" to square off against the Dallas Cowboys for the first time at 4:25 p.m. ET.

Zeke made three Pro Bowls and was named first-team All-Pro once during his seven-year run with Dallas from 2016-2022 while leading the league in rushing yards twice in his first three seasons. He was released in March and signed with New England in August, as the Cowboys committed to 2022 Pro Bowler Tony Pollard as their feature back.

New York Jets wideout Mecole Hardman faces quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs on "Sunday Night Football" at 8:20 p.m. ET from MetLife Stadium.

Hardman was with the Chiefs from 2019-2022 and acted as one of Mahomes' key downfield speed threats and won two Super Bowls.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith's reunion against the New York Giants closes out the bevy of Week 4 revenge games when they travel to MetLife Stadium for "Monday Night Football" at 8:15 pm. ET.

After four seasons with the Jets from 2013-16 to begin his career, Smith signed with the G-Men in March 2017. He only played two games (making one start) as Eli Manning's backup that year though, before joining the Los Angeles Chargers in 2018.
