Ten-year NFL veteran and former Buccaneers' defensive back, Logan Ryan, has found a new home after signing with the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday as they gear up for a playoff run here in a few weeks.

Throughout his career, Ryan has spent time at multiple positions throughout the secondary - beginning his career with the New England Patriots playing as the right cornerback before transferring over to the left corner position when moving on to playing for the Tennessee Titans. Following his time with the Titans, Ryan found a home with the New York Giants where he played free safety and strong safety for two seasons before making his way to Tampa Bay to play safety last season in Tom Brady's final season.

Ryan will now head to the Bay area to play for one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl in the 49ers, although what position he will play is still to be determined.

Over the course of his ten-year NFL career, Ryan has logged 742 tackles (536 solo), forced four fumbles while also recovering 15 fumbles, and has picked off opposing quarterbacks 19 times - returning one for a touchdown.

Logan Ryan hasn't played with any other team this season so it will be interesting to see how much playing time he will see right off the bat with the 49ers. He will however provide a veteran presence that will help with some of the issues that they have had in the secondary.
