The Brooklyn Nets had some pretty enormous expectations this season -- even before acquiring James Harden.

With one of the best roster in the league, New Yorkers (and the rest of the NBA community for that matter) had them fully pegged to make the Finals.

But amid injuries and some disappointing play by the supporting cast, the Nets got dropped by Milwaukee in Round 2, leading to some rather reactionary fans.

Not long after the final buzzer, video footage surfaced of a burning Joe Harris jersey, who went just 3-10 in Game 7.

Obviously, Harris didn't play well in that series-clinching game and deserves some level of criticism for that.

But burning his jersey may be going a bit too far, especially when you consider the injuries involved with Brooklyn's loss. Had Kyrie and Harden been at 100% throughout the entirety of the series, the result might have been very different.

Of course, going forward, it will be interesting to see how the Nets front office responds to the defeat. Will they run it back and hope for different results next year, or are changes on the horizon for this roster?

We'll find out soon enough. For now, all they can do is watch the playoffs unfold from their home.
