Eagles Legend Jason Kelce Receiving Interest From WWE
Kyle Ross-USA TODAY Sports

WrestleMania XL is gearing up to take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia this weekend, and as always, the event promises to attract its fair share of celebrities. Among the notable personalities expected to make an appearance is former All-Pro punter Pat McAfee, who is set to serve as one of the commentators. However, there’s speculation that another superstar might join the fray: recently retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.

According to reports from Fightful Select, WWE has extended an invitation to Kelce to participate in the event.

“Fightful Select has learned that WWE reached out to recently retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce for a possible WrestleMania appearance. Kelce is a huge star in the sports world in general, but especially in Philadelphia and doubly so at Lincoln Financial Field, where he’s played for the last decade.”

The potential inclusion of Kelce in WrestleMania XL seems like a natural fit, considering his popularity among fans of the Philadelphia Eagles.

With the event taking place in Philly this weekend, the timing couldn’t be better for Kelce to be part of the action. Notably, other celebrities such as Lil Wayne and Meek Mill have already confirmed their attendance.

Should Kelce accept the invitation, there’s a myriad of roles he could undertake during the show. Last year at WrestleMania 39, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle made waves by getting involved in the action alongside Pat McAfee.

Beyond physical involvement, there are various ways Kelce could contribute to the event, perhaps even taking on the role of host. Returning to Lincoln Financial Field in the City of Brotherly Love could hold special significance for Kelce, presenting an enticing opportunity.

Additionally, there’s speculation about whether his younger brother and his girlfriend might join him at the event, adding another layer of intrigue to Kelce’s potential involvement.
