The Philadelphia Eagles end the 2023-24 season in a shocking rut, dropping their last six of seven games after Monday night's 32-9 playoff loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Following the game, Eagles' veteran offensive tackle Lane Johnson didn't beat around the bush that changes need to and will happen this offseason.
“I’m just sitting and watching,” Johnson said post-game, via 94 WIP's Howard Eskin. “I really don’t know what's going to happen. It’s very frustrating. You see what this team was and you see how the team ended and the slide that we had and there was no stopping. So it’s very frustrating. It’s a wild business we’re in. Nobody’s safe. We’ll see what happens.”

Johnson was also asked whether or not he will return for an 11th season, and he intends to.
“I think I have a few good years left,” Johnson said.
In fact, Johnson already has some of his own changes in mind that he would like to address with his teammates for next season.
"When you look out the course of the season. What would I tell my guys? The o-line. 'No matter what the f-----g scored board is you play. No slapping, no f-----g clapping your hands, no sulking, bad body language on plays," Johnson said. "You go up to the line of scrimmage line nothing f-----g happened. Like a robot. I think something that needs to be addressed as far as next season, you don't want to give your opponents anything. They see this sh-t on film... you can't give your opponents anything."
Lane Johnson is apparently not very happy with some things he saw and way some of his teammates may gave approached some things at end of season. **Beware of some of the language.** @SportsRadioWIP pic.twitter.com/fYaOTRtbVO

The Eagles are already losing Jason Kelce to retirement and with the way things are going for the Birds, they certainly can't afford to lose another honest big man who will hold this team accountable moving forward.
