Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill hit with yet another fine from NFL

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been great at accumulating two different things this season.

The first is receiving yards, which is the primary role for his job.

The second is fines from the NFL.

He added another fine to his impressive total this week when the NFL hit him with a $10,927 unsportsmanlike conduct fine for giving a peace sign on his way to the end zone on his 69-yard touchdown against the New York Giants this past Sunday.

That gesture is considered taunting and even though it was not flagged during the game, the NFL still hit him with a punishment.

That fine will add to an already impressive total that Hill has been hit with this season. He said on social media earlier this week that the NFL has fined him over $100,000 for repeated uniform violations, mostly related to his refusal to wear socks.

The NFL has said the fine total for his uniform violations is actually less than $100,000 total Hill claimed, but that it is still a significant amount.

Hill has said he will stop fighting the NFL on the uniform violation and will begin wearing socks. But even with that decision, he is still finding new ways to get his paycheck reduced. It will be interesting to see what he decides to do this week when the Dolphins play the 0-5 Carolina Panthers.
