Detroit Lions Fans React to Isaiah Buggs' Cryptic Post
Kirthmon F. Dozier / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Detroit Lions defensive line is expected to be among the units the team can count on all throughout the 2023 season.

Defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs, who has acclimated well to Aaron Glenn's defense following stints with the Steelers and Raiders, took to social media to share his thoughts Sunday evening.

Buggs posted on social media, "I’m good but just know situations change #96BALLFOREVER Y’all gone see."

During the offseason, the Lions decided to re-sign the 27-year-old to a two-year, $4.5 million contract.

Defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn expressed everything involved with his defense starts with the defensive front.

"Everything starts with those big guys," said Glenn. "I mean it’s exciting to see how Alim (McNeill) has come from year one to year three to where he’s at, the way he’s changed his body, how athletic he is. And I’m expecting a big year from that player. (Isaiah) Buggs, Benito (Jones), those guys, big, strong, physical guys that we need to play the way that we need to play up front."

In 2022, Buggs played 755 defensive snaps and demonstrated strengths against the run.

Supporters took to social media to wonder if the team was trading Buggs for Mike Evans or Chris Jones or to express their support, should the talented defensive lineman be dealing with an injury.

Here is a sample of the reaction online to Buggs' cryptic post online.
