Cowboys to debut awesome white alternate helmets on 'TNF'

It's a big game for the 11-4 Dallas Cowboys. Sure, they're already a playoff team and the NFC East is probably going to go to the Philadelphia Eagles, but for a team like Dallas...every win and every bit of momentum matters.

With so much on the line this Thursday night and plenty of reason to tune in as the Cowboys take on the 7-8 Tennessee Titans, it is worth noting that "America's Team" is going to be switching up their iconic helmets and going for a more modern look.

Dallas will wear its color rush jerseys this week, and along with the all-white jerseys will be a new white helmet that will be making its debut for the first time:

The Cowboys' silver helmet is iconic, of course, but there's something to be said for these white ones. They may not carry the history and aura of the classic Cowboys helmet, but these are sleek as heck and they should look great with the all-white jerseys.

Traditionalists may balk at the all-white, but recent history has proven that a "white out" can look really good.

The Cincinnati Bengals rocked this look recently on "Thursday Night Football," and it was a hit.

If the Bengals can make it work, the Cowboys' iconic brand should have no problem.
