Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs defends brother amid Bills WR's reporter controversy

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs posted to X, formerly known as Twitter on Thursday to defend his brother -- Buffalo Bills wideout Stefon Diggs -- as the latter deals with the aftermath of a team reporter's hot mic moment.

The elder Diggs' treatment of the media has been called into question over the last 24 hours, after team reporter Maddy Glab was caught on a hot mic, calling out how the Pro Bowl wide receiver may or may not deal with the interviewers.

After the video made the rounds of social media on Wednesday, Glab issued an apology, saying among other things that she respects "the hell out of" Diggs, he "marches to the beat of his own drum" and she loved that about him. She even added that the former Minnesota Viking "has great character and treats us media with lots of respect" and he was "one of (her) favorite players to cover."

The quick apology from Glab wasn't a surprise, as she is an employee of the team and probably wanted to keep her job. Even less surprising was the Cowboys' Pro Bowler's defense of his older sibling.

It's been quite an adventurous 2023 for Stefon Diggs and his relationship with the Bills and not always for the better.

Buffalo hasn't started 0-2 since the 2018 campaign, which was head coach Sean McDermott's second season with the franchise. That was also quarterback Josh Allen's rookie season and two years before Diggs was traded to Western New York.
