Cleveland Browns release jersey numbers for new offseason additions that have been added to the team
Katie Stratman-USA TODAY Sports

Cleveland Browns have had an active offseason where they have gone out and added pieces to the puzzle for the 2024 NFL season.

Right before free agency, the Browns traded for WR Jerry Jeudy from the Denver Broncos to get things started. Once free agency hit they signed a couple of running backs, a pair of linebackers, as well as multiple other players.

With new additions to the team come new jersey numbers. Cleveland announced that their offseason additions have numbers and that some other players made switches.

New additions

WR Jerry Jeudy – 3

QB Jameis Winston – 5

QB Tyler Huntley – 10

RB Nyheim Hines – 22

RB D'Onta Foreman – 27

CB Justin Hardee Sr. – 28

LB Devin Bush – 30

K Cade York – 36

CB Tony Brown – 38

LB Jordan Hicks – 58

DT Quinton Jefferson – 72

T Hakeem Adeniji – 74

TE Giovanni Ricci – 87

Number changes

S Grant Delpit – 9

S Rodney McLeod Jr. – 12

K Lucas Havrisik – 39

LB Caleb Johnson – 48

DT Jayden Peevy – 50

WR Michael Woods II – 81

DE Isaiah Thomas – 96

The biggest change is Delpit ditching No. 22 and going to No. 9 which he wore in college. On offense, Hines has picked up Delpit’s old number. Another change is McLeod going to No. 12. That makes it two safeties with different numbers for the 2024 season.

Cleveland hopes they never have to see Winston or Huntley out there in a game because that means that Deshaun Watson is once again missing time.

Most importantly for the fans, jersey numbers are here. However, number changes sometimes happen after training camp again, so buying gear is a risky game in some cases right now.
