Friday Injury Report - Week 6
The Washington Commanders will be down a cornerback and key special teams player when they face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Christian Holmes was ruled out due to a hamstring injury.
Holmes absence will marks the second injury to impact the Commanders' special teams unit. Jeremy Reaves, who was a Pro Bowler and First team All-Pro in 2022, was placed on the IR earlier this week.
Defensive end, Efe Obada was activated from the IR this week and is questionable against Atlanta. Obada is returning from a knee injury that caused him to miss the first five games of the season.
Left tackle Charles Leno (finger), receiver Curtis Samuel (finger) and tight end Curtis Hodges (illness) will play were full participants on Friday and enter Sunday without an injury designation.
Wednesday Injury Report - Week 6
After a mini-bye from playing last Thursday, the Washington Commanders (2-3) are relatively healthy heading into Sunday when they go to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to face the Atlanta Falcons (3-2). Only two players were unable to practice for the Commanders.
Defensive lineman Efe Obada was a full participant after being activated from the IR on Tuesday. Every player for Atlanta was a full participant in practice.

Wednesday Injury Report - Week 5
After appearing on the injury report on Tuesday, Washington Commanders receivers Jahan Dotson and Curtis Samuel will be active on Thursday Night Football against the Chicago Bears.
Dotson was on the injury report with an ankle injury, while Samuel is dealing with a quad injury. Both players were limited in practice on Tuesday. Defensive backs Christian Holmes (back), Quan Martin (thumb) and Benjamin St-Juste (neck) will also be available against the Bears.
Commanders running back Christian Rodriguez Jr., who is battling an illness, is questionable heading into Thursday.
Chicago will be without safety Eddie Jackson, cornerback Jaylon Johnson and receiver Chase Claypool. Safety Jaquon Brisker is questionable with a hamstring injury.
Tuesday Injury Report - Week 5
The Washington Commanders (2-2) face a quick turnaround when they host the Chicago Bears (0-4) on Thursday Night Football at FedEx Stadium at 8:15 p.m. ET.
With just over two days until game time, multiple key players were on the injury report for the Commanders, including receivers Curtis Samuel and Jahan Dotson. Due to the short week, both teams conducted walkthroughs and injury statuses are more of an estimation heading into Thursday.

Friday Injury Report - Week 4
Washington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas will return on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles at 1 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field. Thomas missed Washington's game against the Buffalo Bills with a concussion.
Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. will be out on Sunday with an illness.

The Washington Commanders appear close to having one of their weapons back on Sunday when they face the Philadelphia Eagles at 1 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field.
Logan Thomas was a full participant in practice on Thursday. He's recovering from a concussion that he suffered on Sept. 17 that he suffered as he caught a touchdown at the hands of Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson.

Friday Injury Report - Week 3
The Washington Commanders will be without their starting tight end when they face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at FedEx Field at 1 p.m. Logan Thomas will be out, as he's still recovering from a concussion he suffered in the Commanders' 35-33 win over the Denver Broncos.
Receiver Curtis Samuel is questionable for Sunday with an illness.
Defensive tackle Daron Payne, safety Quan Martin, center Nick Gates and running back Brian Robinson won't have an injury designation after being on the injury report earlier in the week.
Wednesday Injury Report - Week 3
Could the Washington Commanders (2-0) be down a key member of their defensive line on Sunday when they host the Buffalo Bills (1-1)?
Defensive tackle Daron Payne didn't practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury. Payne had one sack, two tackles for loss and three quarterback hits in Washington's 35-33 win over the Denver Broncos. Payne downplayed his absence at practice.
"I feel good," Payne said. "Good to go."
Logan Thomas also didn't practice after suffering a concussion against Denver.
Buffalo also had key players miss practice, including Micah Hyde and Dawson Knox.

Commanders vs. Broncos
Denver Broncos defensive back Kareem Jackson could face discipline from the NFL after a big hit on Washington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas.
However, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, Jackson is unlikely to face suspension.
Thomas was evaluated for a concussion while Broncos defensive back Kareem Jackson was ejected for the hit.

Friday Injury Report - Week 2
After missing Week 1's win over the Arizona Cardinals with a neck injury, edge rusher Chase Young has been cleared and will be active for the team's tilt with the Denver Broncos Sunday. The former Defensive Rookie of the Year had his fifth-year option declined by the Commanders this past offseason, and is looking to revive his career in 2023.
Meanwhile, cornerback Quan Martin will be inactive as he recovers from a concussion.
Russell Wilson will have one of his top weapons at his disposal on Sunday. Denver head coach Sean Payton said receiver Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) will play against the Commanders. The fourth-year receiver missed the Broncos' season-opener against the Las Vegas Raiders.
