Chargers Officially Announce Big Defensive Signing
USA TODAY Sports

Ford broke out in the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2018 with Seattle, spending the first five years of his career with the team. His best season came in 2021 when he posted 53 tackles and two sacks over 17 games played.

He joined the Bills last season, registering nine tackles and one sack over eight games. Ford will likely be used as a depth piece for the Bolts but could end up competing for the starting job.

The former University of Texas star was the Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year and first-team All-Big-12 during his senior season. He racked up 34 tackles, 1.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and a blocked field goal during that year.

Ford has carved a nice career for himself in the NFL and will now be looking to make more noise with the Chargers. Los Angeles has wanted to beef up their interior defense and Ford certainly will help them do that.
