The Los Angeles Chargers are set for a showdown on Monday Night against the Dallas Cowboys; however, they may be without their starting safety, Alohi Gilman.
Dealing with a heel injury, Gilman missed today's practice, leaving his status for Monday's game uncertain.
Don’t see Alohi Gilman (heel) at #Chargers practice. Dean Marlowe working with starting unit at safety.

Joey Bosa (toe) is out here, but off to the side during individuals. Also don’t see Deane Leonard (hamstring)
The 26-year-old out of Notre Dame missed their Week 4 matchup against the Raiders due to his heel, and he is in jeopardy of missing his second game of the season.
In three games, Gilam has recorded 22 tackles, one forced fumble, and one pass-defended
The Chargers could use all they could get and more, especially from their secondary, as they face a high-powered offense in Dallas.
The secondary is clearly the Chargers' Achilles heel, and they'll need Gilman's heel to be ready to go by Monday.
It's not a for sure, but it's not a good sign to see him missing practice. Luckily, they have this extra day, but they'll be cautious with him and see how it goes come game day.
