The newest weapon on the Dallas Cowboys offense has yet to play a single game for the team, but the hype surrounding him has already taken on a life of its own. Brandin Cooks, acquired by the Cowboys this offseason via trade from the Houston Texans, is expected to make a big impact and, paired with CeeDee Lamb, could create one of the most exciting duos in football.
But how high is the upside for this duo? According to former NFL wide receiver and current analyst Andrew Hawkins, they're already in the top five of all wideout duos in the entire league. Hawk broke it down during a segment of "NFL Live" on ESPN, placing Lamb and Cooks behind only Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, and Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf.

That's very high praise when you consider the company Hawkins is placing Lamb and Cooks with. Every other duo listed has played at least one season together. And considering Cooks has never caught a single regular-season (or preseason) pass from quarterback Dak Prescott, it goes to show that there's a ton of belief in what the Cowboys passing game could do in 2023.
